I am a professionally qualified integrative therapist. This means that I draw on a range of different theoretical approaches, such as humanistic, I am predominantly person-centred in my approach and mindfulness, support the way I work. These are adapted and integrated to suit each person’s individual needs.

Most importantly, I believe that if the relationship-built feels trusting and supportive, this can enable a safe exploration of difficult feelings and lead to greater insight, self-awareness and thus enabling internal change and empowerment.

I have currently worked as a therapist within the ELM’s a charitable counselling centre and now primarily run my own private practice. In addition to this, I am registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy which means I abide by the BACP ethical framework and principles for good practice.

I attend regular continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops to keep my skills and knowledge up-to-date.
